How can I use MATLAB or Simulink?

To use MATLAB or Simulink, select one of these two options.

• Install MATLAB and/or Simulink on your own computer free of charge for academic use through Stanford Software Licensing > MATLAB Individual Institution License ↗︎.

• Use a desktop computer in a residence cluster, library, The Hub @ Lathrop, or other location. Visit Find Software and Computers | Desktop Locations ↗︎.

MATLAB is a programming platform used to design systems and products. Simulink is used for model-based design.
